The Evergreens UK Group has created a landmark accredited and industry recognised award for the installation of artificial grass surfaces that is set to transform the landscaping industry, and which can be attained at a new dedicated facility based in Rutland, in the heart of the UK.
Working alongside Lantra Awards, Evergreens UK provide a two-day, theoretically and practically-assessed technical course that will teach participants the essentials of installing synthetic turf surfaces with both safety and competence.
The course is essential to install artificial grass professionally and correctly and caters for all abilities. Those who are involved in either the horticultural, landscaping, grounds-maintenance or facilities-management sectors are welcome and encouraged to take part.
Furthermore, the expert team of instructors will explain the necessity for using the correct tools and equipment.
On successful completion of the course, attendees will be awarded with a Lantra certificate of competence and a Skills Identity Card. The attendees will also be entitled to apply for an Artificial Grass Installer Blue Skilled LISS/CSCS Card via BALI, which is a requirement to work on a commercial site.
David Fisher, Market Development Manager at Lantra, said “This new training course will ensure learners are trained to the highest standard in grass installation.”
